Amazon has closed “THE BITCOIN GIFT SHOP” account, removed all my published books and journals from sale on their marketplace, and unilaterally decided that I wouldn’t receive any outstanding royalties. I´ve been communicating with them since April, but their decision is final.
The reason given by Amazon to close the account was that “The titles might cause a misleading customer experience”. I concluded that common words for us, such as Nostr freaks, Nostriches, Nostrian thinkers, Hodlers, Stats, Lightning, Zap, Zapping, Zapped, Maxis, Maximalists, Bitcoiners, etc might be considered as misleading by Amazon.
Easy to forget it´s still incredibly early!
We all know we can’t trust any centralized company. Period. My mistake was to fall for its convenience (worldwide printing and distribution, and competitive prices) and I still haven´t found a competitive alternative.
I welcome ideas!
