I garden in the Mojave. Desert rat by birth and choice.

Is there a lightning wallet you would recommend? I have Muun and Strike. What I can find online suggests Wallet of Satoshi but it is no longer available in the App Store. Muun seems to work for sending zaps, but not for receiving.

Ah, still learning Nostr and didn’t see the other replies. Nice!

Not even a marigold actually, tho I understand why it earned that name. Baileya multiradiata. Native to dry, hot regions in the southwest US. Really quite something after a rain. Bursts into bloom.

I love dahlias, but too hot to grow them here. I bet gomphrena would grow with a little love. What cultivars are you liking?

Echinacea. Which I grew a lot in my last garden. Now I live in the desert and you can’t beat a desert marigold for its acid yellow flowers and blue, furry leaves that are unfazed by 110F. Hard to believe they exist

Ipomopsis arizonica found on a recent hike in the sky islands of the Mojave desert. Wish I were as tenacious

Oh there are flowers on nostr! I can do this! #planstr #flowerstr

Been a year since I posted, and just so happens to coincide again with a hike near Mt. Charleston. Some of these trees, Pinus aristata, or bristlecone pine, are over 3,000 years old.

Visit to Mt. Charleston today to be in it. Indian paintbrush, my favorite dry land wildflower

I’m crap at Nostr. Meant to post this here: This is the way <3

Also this is Isaac!
