Everyone who thinks German sounds like an angry language hasn’t heard schlager music.

Schlager makes Germans sound like the most happy-go-lucky people on the planet.

One reason I’m so excited about the PWHL is that, finally, a pro league allows women to body check in ice hockey.

For decades, that was not allowed. And I always thought that was a silly rule since it’s allowed in men’s hockey.

If men are allowed to do it, so should women.

You know what is piracy but is never called piracy?

When big corporations remove your access to software and content that you paid for—oftentimes at full price too. If you buy something, you should have an irrevocable right to own it.

Just wanted to give you a heads up that Pebble (formerly T2) is shutting down. In case you haven't heard about it before, Pebble was a social network created by some former Twitter employees with the aim of replacing Twitter. The catch was that it ended up being quite similar to Twitter, with its centralized structure.

Personally, I don't believe that the future of social media lies in centralized platforms. We've seen this story before, right? It's like a familiar routine – we know how these types of social media services tend to unfold.

If you're interested in challenging the traditional social media landscape, decentralization is the way to go. Open protocols like ActivityPub hold massive potential and offer the best and only option to shape the future of social media.

If you ever find yourself thinking that Windows is the absolute worst operating system, a quick encounter with ChromeOS will definitely change your mind.

It's like Linux with a touch of the Marquis de Sade's creativity.
