Is Lightning Loop an extra piece of software or something to enable in the config of my node? I only ask because currently I’m running my node through Umbrel. Sounds like a decent solution though wasn’t aware this existed.
As far as profitability goes with running a routing lightning node, it’s seeming the key is to only maintain large channels to keep rebalancing needs to a minimum, i.e. to accumulate enough routing fees before needing to rebalance. Any vets out there have any input on this or am I missing anything obvious?

It seems to me gold just about tracks along to the real yet unreported tune of inflation. One of the most glaring things that stands out to me the more literature I read particularly from the mid to late 19th century to the early 20th century is that the same issues that people harp about today are the same issues people were harping about then. It’s literally the same shit different roll of toilet paper.

As trite as it sounds, Bitcoin made my life make sense. It’s the equivalent of spiritually helping the sun across the sky. It opened avenues of thinking and a perspective of seeing the world I never knew I was missing. My life is now grounded in first principles. Health and personal development have taken a center stage, and I can provide for me and my own like I’ve never been able to in times past.
