John 17:5 (CSB): Now, Father, glorify me in your presence with that glory I had with you before the world existed.
imagine anyone talking like this and not sounding like a complete loon.
Maniac
Wacko
but when Jesus says it
It resonates
It’s right
it’s obvious
And true
Psalm 119:165:
“Abundant peace belongs to those who love your instruction”
If anxiety plagues you, may I suggest that you study the Bible? If you need help, send me a message.

Galatians 3:28
‘in Christ snobbery is prohibited and class distinctions are rendered void.’
The Lord has set apart the godly for himself
Psalm 4
Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us—for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who is hanged on a tree”— (Galatians 3:13)
“As by means of a tree we were made debtors to God, so also by means of a tree we may obtain remission of our debt.” —Irenaeus
“Jesus died on the cross to pay for the sins of the world”
true. He did. Lots of people have heard this.
Lots believe it.
but also, this is true:
“Christ is the all-pervasive principle of concretion or cohesion whereby the universe holds together.”
After Esau ate his bowl of soup, He “rose up and went his way.”
No thought for God.
He was impulsive; incapable of estimating the true value of anything that didn’t immediately appeal to the senses, preferring the animal to the spiritual.
There’s a lot of Esau’s out there.
If you are left without discipline, in which all have participated, then you are illegitimate children and not sons. (Hebrews 12:8)
True sonship involves responsibilities, for which each person must be prepared by discipline.
“how is it possible for God to ignore the great lengths i have gone to in serving him?!!! how can you tell me that God doesnt even take into consideration all the good i’ve done?!”
Is the opposite of:
“God, be merciful to me, a sinner.”
GOD SEES nothing in us that impresses him.
Nothing.
The astonishing thing is that anybody has ever imagined he could get to God through being good.
“Let us therefore diligently, and with all humility, study the holy Scriptures, and heartily pray that we never lose the truth of the gospel.”
M Luther

Christ is the premier example of my faith.
Christ is the object of my faith.
Christ is the founder of my faith.
Christ is the sustainer of my faith.
Hebrews 12:1-2
Using npub to sign for things never gets old. Same for ⚡️
Galatians 2:3: “But not even Titus, who was with me, though he was a Greek, was compelled to be circumcised.”
Titus was saved the same way you can be: by faith alone in Christ alone.
Exodus 3:13–14: Moses said to God, “Behold, I am going to the sons of Israel, and I will say to them, ‘The God of your fathers has sent me to you.’ Now they may say to me, ‘What is His name?’ What shall I say to them?” God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM”; and He said, “Thus you shall say to the sons of Israel, ‘I AM has sent me to you.’ ”
No human being would have made this up.
Last night at church we fed chicken & sausage gumbo to 65 people
Then I preached Hebrews 11:32-40 “deformed & imperfect faith”
Then we split off into 8 groups and prayed for 30 minutes. Great night! I love the faithful local church.
“The sorts of things that atheists could object to the existence of God, are so thin, indeed, so futile, that they scarcely deserve to be recounted, much less refuted.”
Petras Van Mastricht (1690)
