before Abraham was

I AM

Who moved the stone

i dont know for sure he's not, of course. i suspect he isn't. my gut says he's not. if he is, i would be blessed to hear him say something along the lines of: "jesus is lord" or "Christ is my righteousness" or "i have found the treasure in the field...the pearl of great price and nothing compares with him..." or "i compare everything as loss for the surpassing worth of knowing Christ" -- you know...something like that.

Enjoying this!

LEDN B2X?

Yay or nay?

A brighter era is destined to arrive.

Have you read Genesis through Malachi?

If Old Testament theology could be summarized in one sentence, it probably would read, “There is no god but the Lord.”

Nothing better

“Only lazy people work hard”

CS Lewis

just exchanged email with local rancher. asked him "would you accept bitcoin for 1/8th of a cow?" he said "i'd consider it"

Christmas is over: my kids are deciding which 3d printer files they want to download. some ribeyes in the crockpot...road 10 miles on the bike. working on a sermon on God's mercy.

truly, i wish BTC was at 16k again.

“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies.” (2 Corinthians 1:3)

The one true and living God is the “Father of mercies.”

What a sweet and precious title. God desires that we know this about him, which is why Paul wrote it.

The ground of all mercy is the cross.

God is rich in mercy. He delights in showing mercy.

Mercy triumphs over judgement.

God’s mercies never come to an end. They never cease.

They are new every morning.

The purpose of mercy is to lead us to repentance.

The objective of mercy is to pardon.

His mercies vary according to my needs: healing mercies, strengthening mercies, sustaining mercies, etc.

He is the spring of all mercy. It is his nature.

Why do the nations rage and the peoples plot in vain? The kings of the earth set themselves. . . against the Lord and against his Anointed. . . He who sits in the heavens laughs; the Lord holds them in derision. (Psalm 2:1–4)

In the morning, I'll call you

Can't you find a clue

When your eyes are all painted Sinatra blue

But I am poor and needy; make haste to me, oh, God!

Psalm 70:5

Blessed be the God and father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the father of mercies, and God of all comfort

2cor 1:3

I have needs. He has mercy.
