We have an 11 year old chicken that laid this weird looking egg the other day. Most would say she should have been culled years ago once she stopped laying regularly, but she serves another purpose now. She helps with introducing new birds to the flock. New pullets bond with her and the rest of the flock accepts the new birds without much fuss.
