I just want bitcoin.

Why is it normal to plan on working until you die?!?! I feel like Bitcoin gives me and anyone else the best chanvlce of not having to spend your wholo life just trying to survive.

I think its more of a convienence thing currently. Since everything is readily proced in usd its easy to look at the current value of your btc in usd. Ive recently added an extension on firefox that converts all usd prices onlone into sats directly on the pages. Im doing this to attempt to start pricing everything in sats.

Does anyone else panic everynight that they will somehow lose all their bitcoin? It causes me constant anxiety even though im doing everything right i can in terms of protecting it. 🆘️

The Romans learned the hard way what happens when money can be manipulated. Their empire was built on strength, order, and expansion, but wars are expensive. Now compare that to Bitcoin. No emperor, no politician, no government can decree “just a little more supply” to fund their wars. There will only ever be 21 million Bitcoin. It can’t be clipped, shaved, or watered down. It doesn’t matter how powerful someone is—Bitcoin doesn’t bend. That’s the point. It’s incorruptible money. Wars throughout history have been fueled by the ability of states to print or debase currency. Without that lever, endless wars become harder to sustain. Bitcoin represents the opposite of Rome’s downfall: money that resists manipulation, money that can’t be weaponized in the same way.

Rome debased its coins to pay for death. Bitcoin can’t be debased at all. That’s the difference between fragile empires and a monetary system built to last. #Bitcoin
