Pura Vida -

We live in a world between worlds. We’re so lucky to have a way to talk to each other in plain sight, yet with selective pseudo-anonymity.

May you all have the strength of signal to live in the world you’re building!

May you all stay humble!

May you all stack sats!

Education is unreasonably expensive yet one can’t make a living as a teacher

Nostr is a century old upgrade of AT&T

The Bank Term Funding Program is yield curve control. The lower the king yields go, the less it costs the Fed.

Incentives are to pump this to the max. Nobody understands this yet.

Is it possible to be both a Pleb and an influencer?

Maybe so, maybe not.

Does it matter? Not sure.

I do know that Twitter is not the place to ask, nor is Twitter spaces.

People are free to do what they like. Wicked is a smart guy with some signal to share but he’s not on my wavelength if he’s shitting on my lawn here.

There’s a fine line between a Pleb and an influencer and I’m not certain it’s possible to be both.

Nostr will never be like the Bird App. It can’t scale to the stupids. Nostr will select for people who want free speech and don’t care about influence.

That group of people will grow but not as fast as Bitcoin will be adopted.

It’s the idea that on a Bitcoin standard, we’re just common people adding value. Political positioning is irrelevant and actually a waste of time.

Do we know what the colors mean?

The best and most important meme in bitcoin is the word Pleb

This is a rabbit hole I hope to one day understand

Cold storage has layers like software. Base layer is your stack that no fucking way you want anything to happen to and you won’t even spend it. Never sees the light of day.

For most people, there’s more to their bitcoin than just that. So there’s another layer where you have more easy access but take a little more risk.

Seedsigner is like Lightning.

It’s the best idea but has a lot of issues that it’s not ready for yet.

I’ve spent hours stamping steel QRs only to either screw up one punch or, worse, not having a good enough camera to pick it up.

ColdCard is like the base layer for storage. It’s here and ready and a no brainer.

SS is early but, like lightning - will be the standard for everything not in super cold storage.

CC for cold storage. Hot wallet on Sparrow for mixing, and I like sending mixed coins to an address I access through a Seed Signer.

SeedSigner either sends to the CC or to mobile hot wallet like Phoenix.

The correct answer is try them al out.

What are you going for? For the majority of your stack I’d say ColdCard, turn off NFC, and never let it touch the internet. Case closed.

For everything else, I’ve gotten them all to see how I might use them.

I have children and a family - I’m unlikely to move unless it got to next level Mandibles.

Having a good Bitcoin stack can let you focus on building your life knowing that if the Mandibles came to our time - our affairs are already in order and we can bounce.

Once you have that peace of mind - we can now build in our time. Let al the fiat kosers worry about life fucking them.

Pura Vida.

This community is more important than you realize. Building is necessarily alienating. The people in our lives see us as we used to be and don’t care for our ambition - they mostly think we’re going to hurt ourselves.

We are not alone.

Don’t forget that we’re the sharpest and strongest and it’s never going to be easy. We don’t live in our time - nobody will validate us until we’re long gone.

But here - we are all Satoshi. We get each other.
