Everything in life comes with risk, even holding bitcoin in self-custody. To think that for some reason treasury bonds provide "risk-free" returns is absolutely delusional. Not only that, it is extremely dangerous.

There has never been a risk free asset. Bitcoin is the closest thing we’ve ever had.

Bitcoin goes where it is needed. It’s not an investment unless it thinks someone needs it to be. It doesn’t grease a social network unless it sees value in doing so.
I believe Bitcoin selected Nostr and is greasing it because it sees a symbiotic value to help it’s own goals.
