Getting there. We are about half way done with this set of ribs. We’ll see how they turn out. They are getting a bit more done underneath than I’d like, but not much meat there anyways.

I got this Nordbrau hops plant late in the season last year. It didn't fare well, it had a fungal infection and it died off quite quickly. I considered it gone until today that I found a couple healthy stalks sprouting.

Maybe I'll have some homegrown hops this season...

Preparing to bottle the #mead.

I'm filtering out as much yeast as I can to increase the stability of the final product.

For that, I first filtered it with a mesh to remove most of the yeast cake that forms at the bottom. Now, on the second stage I'm using the bazooka filter of my brewing kettle and some filter papers to do the fine work.

It's a slow process, but hopefully it's worth the time.
