There is still some toxic maxis that simply want to live in a fantasy world where everything is ok but have no contact with reality and aren’t ready to discuss point of views without attacking me

I’ve done a lot for bitcoin adoption, dozens of thousands of people have joined a group where I admin for years learning about bitcoin.. I’ve traveled around the country teaching and I’ll still do it because I’m committed to it

Yet, I still think self custody has to scale.. I’m fine with high fee market coming as long as we don’t ignore reality and come together with a solution long term so more people can have access to self custody without defaulting into custodial solutions

I 100% agree with you. If people have no choice but custodial LN because of high fee, it’s nothing different as current system. Big guys could trace back through LN node runners(which would be high profitable global companies) and well yeah it’s just same as banks.

So self-custody should spread more to people.

wtf? Just can’t believe this is just an ongoing thing that never stops

For those of you that feel “ahh but we have Lightning” let me tell you that if you really want to have self custodial LN with these fees it’ll force you to pay higher price and to only open big channels

In addition, any payment below 7usd in LN if it fails, can’t really be recovered onchain

So.. this is not very good and I hope it again forces us to seriously discuss how to enable some of the proposed upgrades so all this usage goes to a sidechain or an L2 and we continue using bitcoin and Lightning while enabling those solutions as well like ZK proof, spv proofs, etc

Maybe ordinals is testing #bitcoin whether it can survive with any circumstance or not. If not, #bitcoin isn’t really a strong money as we thought, but if it survives with ordinals, #bitcoin is proving itself that it’s the strongest money ever.

Yeah I know that with bluewallet I can send and receive fully air gapped, but I don’t know why greenwallet doesn’t support sending feature. 😅😅😅

I think I should be able to send my #bitcoin if it supports fully air gapped feature. What am I missing with it?
