Tired of a lot of things GCP/AWS/Sysadmin Guy

Needs a McDonalds cap and it’d be perfect

Double sided sword really for new people, as it can give the impression they need all this stuff to get started. Good idea though, depends on the person using it

They have a habit of ‘fixing’ CVEs by you “just updating with windows update” then find out via a vulnerability scanner, that buried in the update KB article that you actually had to add some obscure registry keys to actually implement the fix contained within the update

I’m still fucking annoyed about this, and this was from me having to support dozens of windows terminal services and domain controllers YEARS ago

It’s alright, can always get the emergency AA van with the petrol generator to top you back up 😂

https://blog.kagi.com/what-is-next-for-kagi is pretty good. I wonder if it's a scam and I'm being duped.

"our development efforts are centered around improving search algorithms, expanding our own index, reducing latency, and ensuring that our platform remains free of low-quality and LLM-generated content"

It is good from the brief time I’ve played with it. I’ve yet to use it lots on my work device due to some workplace apps only working on chrome, but personally it’s been fine

Some quirks with it behaving with Bitwarden on iOS at times, but not much to complain about

“Gotta stack every sat I can”

I set up my multisig purely to protect me from myself

Not only from me being an idiot somehow disclosing my seed phrase, physical damage, someone “finding it” physically, being phished/scammed

But mainly protecting me from making emotional decisions due to price action, as it’s an absolute pain in my ass to spend it lol

I still need to sort out the legal stuff for inheritance , but I’m lazy… but defending me against myself was more important

At first glance at the first photo, would have thought it’s from the English countryside

Today I learned that in 2003 the fast food company “Sonic” began printing out their own money to pay their workers. This led to a huge inflation in the economy and was one of the leading factors of the 2008-2009 recession. Would highly recommend looking up Sonic Inflation on google if you want to learn more.

Makes me think of pingu

Still waiting for a mod that replaces Marguerite in #residentevil 7 with Kay from Kay’s Cooking.

Get the impression Lee is imprisoned against his will, forced to eat what she makes

Very much doubt it’s real, Gaben has far too much money to let this happen
