What does freedom look like to you?
As I am writing this post, I am grateful that I am somewhere sunny and comfortable place with everything that I need.
I am well aware that people out there would kill for the life that I have now. Hence, I always express my gratitude every day.
This freedom to express myself here, online, on #nostr is one of the key things I am grateful.
Attack on the FREEDOM of SPEECH is no news. There are people out there as we speak will do at everything to silence the TRUTH.
So if you are here then you truly value your freedom of choice and freedom of speech.
That in itself is worth celebrating! 🎉👏💯

Omg...! Is this for real? First the UK is rooting out users of social media, 2nd is Canada and now Australia? I mean these nation is part pf the big 7 and commonwealth gov't so no surprised there... But reality is slowly to sink in.

Imagine your professional DESIGNATION that you worked bloody hard is held hostage because you CRITICISE the person running the country, you call out policy (CO2 emission scandal!) and butchery of kids (gender reaffirming care!) and you want them to be ACCOUNTABLE! But you are penalised for EXPRESSING your THOUGHTS!
Imagine you were told to be NICE because if YOU DISAGREE with them, you will be re-educated?!
You thought Canada is democratic country?
You thought FREEDOM of SPEECH is your RIGHT - perhaps, if you agree with them!
If you cannot trust the people who you put in power and you cannot make them accountable then is that DEMOCRACY?
Or is democracy a fancy term used when it suits them?
You think the FREEDOM of SPEECH in the UK is in danger? Canada is following suit.
At least the fascist are upfront with their intentions! The worse kind are those wearing mask convincing you to trust them, that they have your best interests at heart as long as you ALIGN yourselves with them, you CONFORM!
Otherwise, you face the consequences!
