Bitcoin class of 2011. Sci-fi Author since Birth. He who dies with the most Bitcoins wins.

Oh the memories. I did that in 1997, cutting out every one of the European countries (to save weight) that I didn't visit when I backpacked 13 countries across Europe.

Kinda wish I was broke and young so I could go do the others...

Many bitcoiners don't think Maya has a serious chance to run for President of her country, but what they haven't taken into account is that the Mayoral race in their hometown is likely in a larger district than Suriname! The whole country has around a half million people in it, and she said on nostr:npub1cj8znuztfqkvq89pl8hceph0svvvqk0qay6nydgk9uyq7fhpfsgsqwrz4u's Bitcoin podcast last week that she believes she has a really good chance now given proper fundraising!

So we can do this, seriously. Make a 2nd Bitcoin country, kill its' central bank, & replace every currency there with Bitcoin by May next year... What a win!

Everyone head over to this Geyser page & Donate to make it happen:

In my latest very dumb experiment, i’ve gotten a Xitter™️ account again. Firstly, gfy i’ll probably delete it soon. I have my reasons, gfy again.

Here are my initial thoughts:

1) the onboarding experience is terrible. You must curate your feed heavily, same as nostr just centralized and it shoves elon’s account in your face immediately lol

2) the algo is appalling. It makes you choose at least three interests while setting up an account. I think mine were finance, food, and nature… and then it shoved tiddies and public fights/people dying on camera in my face. I had to seek out bitcoiners to get any semblance of reason on my feed

3) it immediately locked my account twice and made me prove i was a human by entering a second email code (already did that initially) and solving a weird puzzle

4) i had to say “not interested in this” repeatedly on tiddies (despite not not being interested in tiddied. I’m civilized ffs) and war and street violence and politics, and all of those still pop up anyway

5) didn’t let me “be seen” or have dm’s until i interacted with the piece of shit timeline enough for its arbitrary and opaque liking

6) Xitter™️ still can’t distinguish what a degen vs a bitcoiner feed should look like, causing me to be exposed to dumbass shit like “alt season incoming, load your bags!!” in response to shit like dan held

7) no one engages when you don’t have a blue check and lots of followers. Again, no better than nostr in this regard - in fact it seems even worse

After these Seven™️ highly insightful insights that nobody could’ve known without me doing this, i have come to the conclusion that Nostr is better and look forward to it growing since we all know open protocols and interoperability WIN

The only way to make it sufferable is to have a group of friends already, or else you’ll probably become politically radicalized, addicted to tiddies, degenerate shitcoiner. This comes as no surprise to me, as the only reason i ever really used it back before it became Xitter™️ was to stack sats and shitpost with my friends on the Stackchain™️ (who so far don’t even know i’ve done this, because this is an experiment you fucks so don’t add me to tard chat or anything)

I’ll keep it open until i can no longer bear the Xittiness of it all, could be today or in a week or a month, i have no idea tbh

The only benefit seems to be that if used carefully you can see what’s going on out in “normie” land better than here… for now. I also can’t help but notice how many nostriches are still on there, but who am i to judge (nobody)

That’s all for now. Thanks for reading, dan

We're still out there to bring people into here. It's a good thing.

I only persist because I see your Gadsden flag-themed logo and assume you're no fan of governments. I'm having trouble understanding exactly what exactly you're doubting since you seem to know that governments do bad things.

My position is that if a big bomb exists that could do this, having such a sociopathic government is a surefire recipe for it getting used and therefore starting armageddon.

The only thing keeping nukes from flying at each other is MAD game theory... And our leaders don't seem competent enough to me to respect that anymore.

Your kids and all clients are definitely going to see this...

...And be jealous of that sweet keyboard!

I've always laughed at the bad 50's propaganda that they showed in classrooms, like the infamous "Duck and Cover" films to keep kids sleeping at night... But have you ever been near an explosion, and felt the shockwave? Now multiply that by 25 Kilotons... None of what I described before is surprising under those conditions.

You do realize that the instant death part of a blast is only for those in the immediate detonation crater area, whereas dozens of miles of blast zone in all directions beyond that tend to feature some of the most extreme human suffering ever conceived by mankind, right?

People with half their skin melted off in disintegrated buildings over the next few miles, then blindness, flattened homes & guaranteed cancer for the next few miles, and then slow-kill radiation out for 10 miles beyond that... And then of course the hospitals are all flattened and there is no drinkable water for 100 miles in any direction... Fun times indeed!

We came so close to Nuclear annihilation during the Bay of Pigs crisis that this sounds extremely naive.

I think the emphasis should never have been on the bombs themselves though, but the stupidity of politicians... And they've only gotten far, far dumber since.

Covid19 was a great bunch of examples of our government nearly killing us all (and probably succeeded in halving our birth rate) just because they are so incompetent & greedy while holding too much power.

This theme happens time and time again, and one day will be the end of humanity.

Wow, The FBCE has added a few more Circular economies recently, taking the total up to 38!

https://fbce.io/circular-economy-regions

Africa now has 11 circular economy programs within it, and from what I can tell these are all serious ventures with real funding, teachers from the west, local merchants already accepting, and plenty of kids in classrooms!

Thank you! I still haven't figured out yet if I really believe it or not myself.

Nothing beats showing. Do a $1 buy on CashApp or Strike in front of them.
