New tool for managing design tokens
https://learn.thedesignsystem.guide/p/new-tool-for-managing-design-tokens

No, is not what you are thinking about, there are no airdrops here. Design tokens are simple, platform-agnostic values that are nicknames for your design elements. Instead of hardcoding hex colors or pixel sizes, you name these values and store them in a standardized format (usually JSON or YAML). These tokens then:
- Create a single source of truth between design and development
- Work across different platforms (web, iOS, Android)
- Follow W3C Design Tokens Community Group standards
- Can be directly used in code via tools like Style Dictionary

MonoLisa: a font that follows function
_
As software developers, we always strive for better tools but rarely consider a font as such. Yet we spend most of our days looking at screens reading and writing code. Using a wrong font can negatively impact our productivity and lead to bugs. MonoLisa was designed by professionals to improve developersโ productivity and reduce fatigue.

## The People, Companies and Computer Systems That Changed Forever the Practice of Engineering
`โ By David E. Weisberg`

This book has been over five years in the making and is now freely available on this web site for your personal use. It can be read online or downloaded and printed for your later perusal. If a company wishes to produce multiple copies of specific material, please contact me at the address below.
In return for free access to over 650 pages of material discussing the people, companies and products that made the CAD industry what it is today, I am asking readers contribute whatever they wish to a foundation that means very much to me. In the mid-1990s I lost both of my sisters to cancer. I am sure many of you have also had relatives and acquaintances struck by this disease. I became very active in a non-profit organization in Denver that raises funds for cancer research and patient support. The endowment portion of this organization is called Cancer League of Colorado Foundation. You can either make a check out to the Foundation and send it to me at the address below (U.S. funds only) or contribute through PayPal.
Sit back and enjoy a trip through the nearly 60 years that totally revolutionized the practice of engineering design. One final word before you start if you find any errors in this material or take issue with what I have written, please let me hear from you. Also, if you have photographs or illustrations you would like to see incorporated into this document, please forward them to me. Having this book online results in a dynamic document that I will update as needed in the future.

Creative ways to monetize personal code if it's not an "app"
Let's go straight to the sauce! How do you monetize your personal code if it doesnโt really fit into a classic product or SaaS model?
Here few options
* Train ML model that solves a niche task really well โ but turning it into a full-blown app seems like overkill.
* Write a CLI tool that processes log files better than anything else Iโve found, but itโs too specialized to justify making a company out of it.
* Build a few small functions in different languages (Python, Go, Rust) that do neat things โ data cleanup, API scraping, PDF generation โ but none of them are โproductsโ by themselves.
Has anyone here has tried something similar โ or if youโve seen creative ways to turn technical tools or utilities into sustainable side income, please do share it below.
Your ideas and examples are more than welcome!
