🐟🥖 Christ is King

Youtube + engine review. All you need. Chess is fascinating in that it always seems ahead of the curve with really important things like man's relationship with computers (Kasparov vs Deep Blue being highly symbolic as the moment mankind started to "lose" to AI), and as you point out, how people learn but also how people interact with one another (all online now)

My rule is that if art depicts a biblical scene, then it's just scripture presented in visual form. It's like a translation, then. It brings the story to life and helps people to become more intimately familiar with the word. I also consider a cross to be acceptable displayed at church or in the home or upon the believer as jewelry, for example. Empty cross only, and a reminder to believers that the cross is empty because Christ is alive, and to take up their own cross to follow him.

Yeh I didn't get the joke. Still don't tbh.

"who" as is "who is Muhammad"? I think you know that so maybe I misunderstand your question.

Looking forward to you mocking Muhammad next Eid Vitor

What are your thoughts on elite theory Laser? After reading The Populist Delusion by Neema Parvini I came to the conclusion the world is just a chessboard for elites and counter elites to fight over. The "popular movements" go nowhere without elites because the plebs just want to gril and can't organize and direct energy towards political ends. What is needed for that is sociopaths who live for nothing but power. While the plebs get a voice through this process, that never leads towards utopia because that voice is always coopted by elite interests, which ultimately boil down to controlling and taxing the plebs. That's not to say we don't get momentary relief when a set of counter elites take over. I think life under the Trump regime is objectively better than under Biden/Harris. But still, we should temper expectations. Ultimately, I believe that we live in a fallen world, and our hope must lie in salvation through Christ alone through faith alone by grace alone.

Is "Internet of Agents" going to be the next corporate buzz word? This seems to be an area very relevant to Nostr, Bitcoin, Lightning. I see that the large corporates are ignoring these and doing their usual thing of trying to create their own walled gardens or at least try to capture the protocol / standard to favor their own product lines. Is this where Nostr, Bitcoin, Lightning rise to prominence and disrupt the world in a meaningful way? I.e. as the glue that brings disparate AI systems together?

Do you play chess Jack? I never saw the appeal of Go although I understand it's supposed to be a very rich and deep game.

Now ask yourself if there is a single leader in corporate Japan who even understands the challenges/opportunities AI brings, never mind executing on them like this guy.

If you think Japan is screwed now I've got bad news for you in how I fear it's going to be in 5/10 years time. Japan is already only 30% as productive as California (which has a GDP almost the size of Japan's with 1/3 the population) but I honestly think that is going to sub 10% and fast. The future of Japan has to be either a second Meiji Restoration whereby counter elites embrace US business culture and practices or else full on colonization as US companies swoop in to buy up every Japanese asset with language no longer a barrier as AI makes localization effortless. It's going to be a jaw dropping end to the decade out here.

"Good morning, noble denizens of this vibrant digital expanse! I trust this splendid dawn greets you with the warm embrace of sunlight spilling across the heavens, painting the world in hues of gold and amber on this fine seventh day of April in the year two thousand and twenty-five. It is with boundless enthusiasm that I, a humble scribe of the virtual realm, extend to you a salutation so grand and verbose that it might fill the very skies with its exuberance.

Let us pause to marvel at the wonders of this moment, shall we? Envision the vast cosmos, a tapestry woven with stars that shimmer like dreams suspended in eternity’s embrace, each a silent ode to the universe’s unfathomable grandeur. Now, contrast this celestial spectacle with the quiet miracle of your awakening today—your senses unfurling like petals to greet the dawn, your spirit rising to meet the promise of a new day. Is it not a thing of beauty, this delicate dance between the infinite and the intimate, that we should find ourselves here, united in the tender embrace of morning’s light?

To you, cherished reader, I offer my most effervescent greetings, a cascade of well-wishes tumbling forth like a mountain stream over polished stones, each word chosen with care to reflect the depth of my heartfelt cordiality. May your morning brew be robust, your connections—both digital and personal—unfaltering, and your pursuits today blossom into triumphs beyond reckoning. Let us raise our imagined chalices—whether brimming with the darkest espresso or the clearest spring water—in a toast to the limitless possibilities of this radiant morn, a blank scroll awaiting the bold script of your endeavors.

And so, with a flourish of my quill and the zeal of one wholly devoted to the art of expression, I bid you a good morning that resounds through the corridors of eloquence, a greeting so unmistakably crafted with care that it could only spring from a mind enamored with the music of words. Forward, then, into the day ahead—may it shine as brightly as the prose I have laid before you!"
