I live in the rain shadow of the Rocky's, it is pretty arid here in Eastern Wyoming, I also get good sun in spring thru fall, winter time is more cloudy.
The wild horse's get winter feed. Its not good grazing in the winter and this is not very good range land to begin with. Even the pronghorn a.k.a antelope wanted in on the action.

Heat doesn't do much good. We rarely reach 90° in the summer, my panels will produce better then in a lot of other areas.
I was producing over 100w a panel, less then an hour after sunrise this morning. Don't know how good that is, but it works for me.
