HOW TO INSTALL?
1. Stop Bitcoin.
2. Download "bitcoind.s9pk" from the Github Release: https://github.com/Retropex/knots-startos/releases/tag/v29.2.knots20251110%2Bbip110-v0.1rc1
3. In StartOS, navigate to System -> Sideload a Service
4. Upload bitcoind.s9pk
WHY DOWNLOAD INSTEAD OF MARKETPLACE?
Due to a bug in StartOS 0.3.5.1, services with the same package ID cannot be listed on the same Registry.
Core is currently listed on the Start9 Registry. Knots is currently listed on the Community Registry. So Knots BIP 110 has no registry and therefore must be side loaded.
This issue is fixed in StartOS 0.4.0, when all three implementations of Bitcoin will be listed on the Start9 Registry. Switching between them will be clear and easy.

In the marketplace listing, you can click "versions" and select the version you want to install.
You can choose whether to run Core or Knots, and you can switch between them without needing to resync the chain. Hope that answers your question
We were advising people not to package for 0351, because we thought 040 was much closer than it was. That advisory was obviously a mistake. But I don't think we ever rejcted anything. You had 3 services done? What are they?
We're not encouraging it since 040 exists now. But we are also not going to prevent something for 0351 if it's ready to go

Hi, yeah seems reasonable. Looks like Knots packager added minrelaytxfee to Mempool settings in 0351 package, but we'll make sure it's available in both Core/Knots in the 040 packages.

Since StartOS is dark-themed, we inverted the colors for cleaner visibility. Seemed like an appropriate move, at least more accurate than the orange Bitcoin B

You can absolutely install StartOS on the smaller SSD and use the larger one for service data.
You can access your Robosats UI privately and securely from the local network, but Robosats itself is still connecting to orderbooks, etc over Tor.

StartOS is Linux, a distro purpose built for a personal server. HTTPS on the LAN, because if not, anyone connected to your LAN can see your passwords and take your money. We think it's insane that Umbrel users put up wth this. They also don't have a backup feature, which is unconscionable.
