One thing I never see from the youtube "prepper" community is an emphasis on having your own tools.
Being able to build and fix things yourself is one of the most important life skills to have. Basic power, woodworking, plumbing and electrical tools along with books and general knowledge on those subjects will pay unbelievable dividends.
After growing up on a working farm that made barely enough money to get by most years, it's hard to emphasize how important basic DIY/fix-it skills are.
There will come a time when censorship resistant money will be appealing to a larger group of people than the current set of bitcoiners. Sadly that time is not right now, too many people still have faith in the system. I get the feeling that will change in the near future (~2-5 years). One more presidential election cycle should do the trick, lots of converging chaos with all the geopolitics, demographics, AI, and govt fraud.

Silver went up 11% today, and 50% the last month. No one would have predicted that 3 months ago. I would give little weight to prediction markets when it comes to market pricing. Better for social/political events.

All this quantum nonsense has picked up since big players have started to accumulate BTC in size. CRQC are a decade or more away, if it ever happens at all. We'll know society is starting to heal when all the musicians, actors, and athletes make waaaaaayyyyyy less money than they currently do. These careers are generally non productive and are a true showcase of the misallocation of capital in the current fiat system. None of these people should be millionaires. They're contributions to society are minimal at best.
