For seamingly no reason at all it is now going in and out of "Starting" and "Running" and won't get through the package health checks. Any suggestions?
Sounds like Bitcoin is in a crash loop. Check out the logs to see why. It's usually something corrupt in the DB. Depending on the error, there are different Actions your can run from the Actions menu to fix the problem. Check out any of our support channels for 1-1 assistance. https://start9.com/contact

Why did updating Bitcoin Core change it to Bitcoin Knots?
Reposting here from X for visibility to others.
Core and Knots necessarily have the same service ID in order to satisfy dependent services like lightning.
Knots is on the community registry, Core is on the primary registry.
Your updates tab shows both registries, so you must have just clicked the Knots one.
It's an unfortunate and temporary UX shortcoming of 0.3.5.1 and will be fixed in 0.3.6 when we expand the versioning system to support alternative implementations of the same services, like Knots and Core.
To switch back to Core, do the following:
1. In the System tab, click the "manage" header 5+ times to enable developer mode.
2. Go to the Start9 Registry in the Marketplace. Click Bitcoin Core. And click "Reinstall".
3. Optionally disable developer mode by clicking the manage heading another 5 times.

Why not another Start9 :)
nostr:npub126ntw5mnermmj0znhjhgdk8lh2af72sm8qfzq48umdlnhaj9kuns3le9ll we’re behind you and I have a question about your Twitter posting. To what end are we going after Saylor? What are we trying to achieve?
I/we have no desire to go after Saylor beyond our initial comment.
Cypherpunks write code.
Capitalists create products from code.
Crypto anarchists use products to defend themselves and their families against theft and tyranny.
Tradfi bros borrow money they didn't earn to acquire property they didn't develop - and like a fat, entitled leech, gorge on the economic value created by others.
We have very active support channels on Telegram and Matrix, but it sounds like Bitcoin is in a crash loop. Very likely the hurricane cuased a power outage which caused some data corruption. Inspect the logs to see what the error message is besides the one mentioned above. Depending on what the logs say will determine which Action you should run from the "Actions" menu. No need to reflash StartOS or reinstall Bitcoin...
Check out Start9 Pages in the marketplace.
Super easy way to spin up static websites on .onion URLs. Literally just upload your website files, and it's hosted on the Tor network.

Hi nostr:npub126ntw5mnermmj0znhjhgdk8lh2af72sm8qfzq48umdlnhaj9kuns3le9ll, hi nostr:npub1getal6ykt05fsz5nqu4uld09nfj3y3qxmv8crys4aeut53unfvlqr80nfm,
I sideloaded Alby Hub a few weeks ago on my Server One.
Currently running the latest version of StartOS and Alby Hub 1.8.0.
Is it safe to click Update and transition 1.10.1? Will the currently active channels and all other settings be preserved? Any special caution needed? Thanks!
You can safely click update.
Weeks for sure, but that doesn't mean this month.
🚀 Announcing the offical release of Alby Hub nostr:npub1getal6ykt05fsz5nqu4uld09nfj3y3qxmv8crys4aeut53unfvlqr80nfm for StartOS!
Alby Hub offers incredible ease of use for lightning.
On StartOS, Alby Hub seamlessly integrates with your existing lightning node for maximum sovereignty.

Is it possible to set up a nostr:npub126ntw5mnermmj0znhjhgdk8lh2af72sm8qfzq48umdlnhaj9kuns3le9ll server to provide S3 compatible storage?
Not at the moment, no
I tested my nostr:nprofile1qqs9df4h2deu3aae83fmet5xmrlm4w5l9gdnsy3q2n7dklem7ezmwfcpz3mhxue69uhhyetvv9ujuerpd46hxtnfduq5xamn8ghj7dnvv45xs7tywde8g6rpvakkjuekw46nvar4vdhxgan6wumkxatzwpckk6rk0puhjdm2da5k7ce5x4kkkumjx3jkzepwdahxjmmwqyt8wumn8ghj7un9d3shjtnwdaehgu3wd9hxvmckqw0xz node and it is not vulnerable. You may get different results with different services installed

StartOS is not affected by this issue
FYI we just removed NWC from our marketplace because it is deprecated and being replaced by Alby Hub, which has NWC baked in. I do not think the nostr:npub1getal6ykt05fsz5nqu4uld09nfj3y3qxmv8crys4aeut53unfvlqr80nfm team will be maintaining NWC as a separate service going forward. They can confirm.
It would be very difficult on StartOS 0.3.5.x, but will be easy in StartOS 0.3.6.
Wondering when clearnet support will be released for nostr:nprofile1qqs9df4h2deu3aae83fmet5xmrlm4w5l9gdnsy3q2n7dklem7ezmwfcpz3mhxue69uhhyetvv9ujuerpd46hxtnfduq5xamn8ghj7dnvv45xs7tywde8g6rpvakkjuekw46nvar4vdhxgan6wumkxatzwpckk6rk0puhjdm2da5k7ce5x4kkkumjx3jkzepwdahxjmmwqyt8wumn8ghj7un9d3shjtnwdaehgu3wd9hxvmckqw0xz. Also why is it v0.4.0 not v1.0.0
Clearnet will be possible in 0.3.6, which is currently in Alpha testing and moving to beta next week. It will require using SSH and following a guide. In 0.4.0, clearnet functionality will be moved into the UI, no longer considered advanced.
We will move to 1.0 when StartOS is out of beta, expected next year, sometime after 0.4.0
We have an excellent support team in our Telegram channel who can try and help you identify the mistake.
Why is so hard to Backup a nostr:npub126ntw5mnermmj0znhjhgdk8lh2af72sm8qfzq48umdlnhaj9kuns3le9ll Node.
I have tryed almost everything, but i dont get the mistake to it.
Any ideas ?

Plug in a physical drive, click backup.
If you are trying to back up to a newwork folder and failing, 99% the problem is usually an invalid input, and it's usually the username.
Question:
I am using nostr:npub126ntw5mnermmj0znhjhgdk8lh2af72sm8qfzq48umdlnhaj9kuns3le9ll with Core Lightning connected via nostr:npub1xnf02f60r9v0e5kty33a404dm79zr7z2eepyrk5gsq3m7pwvsz2sazlpr5 where i have a Bolt 12 adress
On my laptop i am using nostr:npub1getal6ykt05fsz5nqu4uld09nfj3y3qxmv8crys4aeut53unfvlqr80nfm browser extension which is pretty cool but I have to migrate this either to Start9 where I understand I would have to use LND and not CLN or I am migrating towards Alby hub cloud, correct?
The aim would be to integrate CLN with alby but that doesn’t seem possible yet. Also the NWC extension on Start9 seems to only work with LND, am I missing something?
#asknostr
No, currently NWC and Alby Hub only supprot LND. We hope nostr:npub1getal6ykt05fsz5nqu4uld09nfj3y3qxmv8crys4aeut53unfvlqr80nfm will support CLN in the future too.
