When more choice of rigs to buy?
?

I'm a big fan of MSTR but I'd be a whole lot happier if they provided proof of reserves and could make me worry less about how the coins are custodied...
Contrary to my initial reply, I am now fully convinced by nostr:npub1wnlu28xrq9gv77dkevck6ws4euej4v568rlvn66gf2c428tdrptqq3n3wr and as a result considering installing Knots on my nostr:npub126ntw5mnermmj0znhjhgdk8lh2af72sm8qfzq48umdlnhaj9kuns3le9ll.
Having said that, I completely disagree with the position that Bitcoin is "just a database" and therefore any use of it should be seen as legitimate.
Sure, it is supposed to be permission-less, but shouldn't we strive to keep it a permission-less monetary network, not a permission-less database?

Great interview. nostr:npub1xapjgsushef5wwn78vac6pxuaqlke9g5hqdfjlanky3uquh0nauqx0cnde's arguments seem very coherent.
I would still like to see an interview representing the other side of the argument but at this point I'm not sure I'll find them convincing.
The point made that this is distracting and getting in the way of progress on privacy and scalabilty is strong.
My brother was a VFX artist on that film early in his career.
I have used and liked silent.link, paid for via lightning. As you move between countries you just need to pick the provider with the lowest data cost. There is a page on their site that lists rates for many countries.
Would it make sense for the USA to build their reserve by offering a 5-10% discount on tariffs paid in bitcoin? Or better to just use some of the funds collected to buy at the market price?
As @calle points out, there is no vast repository of assembly language projects to train the models on. Obviously there is plenty of compiled code but not sure there would be enough context for that to be useful?
What are your favourite resources for explaining Bitcoin to no-coiner friends and relatives?
After an eternity of attempting to orange pill a group of friends, one of them has finally invited me round to help him understand it.
In the King's speech he speaks of hope.
Bitcoin is hope.
I just learned about this company developing fusion technology:
How would abundant energy from fusion in 10 years or less change Bitcoin mining?
Would access to ASICs and the raw materials required to make them become the primary constraint?
How can it be simultaneously worthless and a threat to the American financial system?
These days a discrete dash of orange on one's socks is more sensible than walking around with a Bitcoin baseball cap or a Satoshi T-shirt...
