Sweet! No more GitHub download and side loading the service? If you have a Start9, don’t have a self-custodial Lightning solution, and you still don’t install nostr:npub1getal6ykt05fsz5nqu4uld09nfj3y3qxmv8crys4aeut53unfvlqr80nfm Hub now that’s it’s just a single click, then you’re just plain wrong.

As much as I am looking forward to that release (whenever we may get it) nostr:npub1getal6ykt05fsz5nqu4uld09nfj3y3qxmv8crys4aeut53unfvlqr80nfm Hub has made my Start9 node actually usable as a daily driver for me and my family, since everything is done over Nostr Wallet Connect, which is WAY faster and more reliable than connecting through Tor.

I'm still eager for the update in order to be able to manage my node remotely without needing to do so through Tor, but I am no longer relying upon that update for my node to be useful, so I can be patient for it to arrive whenever they are ready to release it.

Wow, that was easy. Really intuitive. So now I’ve got my LND linked to Alby Hub which is also connected with my Alby account. Then I connected nostr:nprofile1qqsdvl5ghyne55mzdj0hzmyhvuv26fzughl7y333r9py6xdnf0uyttq7e6759 so I can zap like there is no Tomorrow 😝

Don’t forget Alby Go. Great stuff.

Next thing is to play with inboud liquidity.

Small update: I bought incoming channel. This thing is really a Thing!

Oh and of course I did not read any manual not even watched any tutorial. This is that intuitive that even some random guy like me who knows shit can set it up in 15minutes or so.

I sideloaded Alby Hub a few weeks ago on my Server One.

Currently running the latest version of StartOS and Alby Hub 1.8.0.

Is it safe to click Update and transition 1.10.1? Will the currently active channels and all other settings be preserved? Any special caution needed? Thanks!

the only downside

i dont like to dox my lightning node

so i wouldnt remmend to use it for receiving

for sending zaps its good....
