Freedom of speech does not mean speech without consequences.

Even a seemingly benign comment will sometimes trigger arguably absurd reactions from some.

Regardless, you should still exercise your speech. Eventually those that resonate with you will continue engaging and those that don’t will go their own way.

Nostr gives you choice on who you hang out with on this multi-dimensional soup.

So far on Twitter I’ve been called:

I’m finding that most people like to engage intellectual disagreement with jargon.

I am also finding Nostr is much more pleasant.

I heard this line a lot a couple years ago while learning about lightning and how to run a node. I was surprised to still hear it last year, because when you actually spend time understanding lightning it becomes perfectly clear why it will continue to grow and succeed. Now I don’t hear it all because I’m here on Nostr surrounded by people who use lightning every day ⚡️⚡️⚡️
