#Bitcoin 25+ year dev NostrGram (Nostr client): https://nostrgram.co/ YouTube: https://youtube.com/@regardingbitcoin Substack: https://jonathanleger.substack.com

Couple of small tweaks and I'll push the update.

Just pushed a bug fix for NostrGram. Clicking the full screen icon on a video didn't work. It was one of those bugs that I thought would take 5 minutes to fix that ended up taking almost 2 hours to track down what the problem was!

Refresh the page to get the update.

s/o to #[0] for the bug report.

🙏 very much for the generous 100k ⚡ #[0]!

Another profile banner background that looks *amazing* on NostrGram.

Yeah if embed isn't supported it should open the link.

No not yet. The full text search engine of Mongo, while better in some ways than MySQL, still isn't ideal. I'm going to switch to Sphinx which is INSANELY fast in comparison and lets me do more complex queries. So for the time being Apple music won't show up in Music because searching for "apple.music.com" in Mongo gets separated as three queries ("apple" and "music" and "com") which would provide a lot of poor results. It's on my to-do list.

Yeah full screen has a bug. That's actually my next issue I'm about to tackle. I think I know what it is so should work soon. Thanks for the report!

Apple music embeds are now live on NostrGram. Refresh the page to get the update.

s/o to #[0] for the suggestion

Long live Ozzy Osbourne. Been listening to him since I was a teen.

s/o to #[2] for sending me a DM and suggesting it. NostrGram is what it is because of so many great suggestions from its users.

I have no doubt p2p is coming to Nostr. There's no reason not to create a p2p messaging system on the protocol. It won't be the only way it's used though. People will always want a social media platform to communicate on. Better a hybrid relay/client system with choice than a centralized walled-garden like the current Big Tech social sites imo.

Odysee embeds are now live on NostrGram. Refresh the page to access the update.

Yes, his idea for querying relays to see if they have the event ids but not get back *all* the data and then only querying specific relays for the needed ids is a really good one. That alone would take care of a lot of the redundant event issues that eat up mobile data.

Yaaas! Makes me feel like I should be smoking something (or have been recently lol)
