I am trying to set up #citrine local relay on my Android Tab .. Do I need to manually key in all the event types that I need to save in settings ? What happens if I leave the field blank ?
Installed #Amethyst 90.3 from zap.store .. great experience..
My previous install was from #Fdroid .. the beauty is , now I will get updates from both - which ever gets the updates first ..
PS : I have this Tab dedicated to #nostr testing .. no Google Account .. no playstore ..

Take a look at people I follow .. I have very carefully curated similar interests .. ~250 real people .. more on dev side .. but few artists and memesters too :-)
Rates are determined by investors - not the Fed ... If Fed wants to give a negetive yeild - do you think anyone would buy T Bills today ? Its like selling a home - you can list a price but auction will determine weather you can sell or not ... isn't that free -float ?
The point being , the way a securtites investor watches Apple price and make a call - similiarly soverign investors (and banks ) watch the fed .. They watch the money supply , wasteful spending and available opportuniities in the international market .. even retail investors can participate ..
So the idea that Govs can simply print money is bogus .. there are checks and balances ... saying it any other way is misguiding the naive public ..
I mean - if that was true - Venezuela would buy all the real estate in America :-)
Hope everyone understand that Fed is forced to increase the interest rates because the buyers demand higher interest .. a direct implication of printing more .. In the process Fed loses money .. in billions ..
So printer is not without cost - even to US ..
Most people think Fed is fighting the inflation - that is just an aftereffect !
But you can make as many key pairs as you want .. there is absolutely no limits . Besides changing the IP address is as easy as turning off your router ..
I am not denying there could be a usecase for such developments ..but these are irrelevant in post #nostr world ..
They were important in legacy web .. and feels like people just couldn't get over inertia ..
Psudonymous systems were when we started creating an ID on the server side .. that was an improvement because original anonymous internet was incapable of keeping a history ..
The key pair systems particularly that are implemented on client side .. and thus KYC free ..are the best (physically possible) implementation of anonymity... So I call them "near anonymous" systems
The problem is NOT the system .. the problem is people attach their real IDs to #nostr IDs because they want to leverage their pre-existing networks ..
If you want to popular .. you can't have privacy ..people will find out everything about you no matter what you do ..

Wait a minute .. a podcast page is NOT essentially for listening to the podcasts .. I mean how many times we go to https://www.noagendashow.net/ to listen to Adam Curry ! Even if there is a play option , people would still listen on Fountain or Wavelake - because no one listens to just one podcast and the features available on say #Fountain can't be ( and shouldn't be) replicated on individual podcast website... Feature creep and overlaod ..
A podcast page is simply for the die hard fans , to may be get the transcripts , merch or bonus content .. and show links to the popular podcast aggregators ..
Every podcaster is on social . . What I thought of npub podcast theme is that all the conversations that a podcaster is driving - to say promote the show ( on #nostr) should be available to fans on podcast page ..
In addition , anyone should be able to set up a podcast page - even if the podcast is on say Spotify .. I mean Rogan can't move his content to #nostr podcasts but nothing stops him joining nostr to promote his content .. we want to give him a free page .. so that his Spotify die hard listeners arrive at nostr .. to interact .. and like him to millions of padcasters locked into Apple , Google and elsewhere ..
