If you’ve got an LND node with litd running then it’s easy peasy. On the command line it looks like this…
$ litcli --network=testnet sessions add --label="LNC demo!"

This one is all about Lightning Node Connect or LNC. It's a fast and secure way to connect a Lightning node to an external service and I hope it will enable all kinds of cool new Lightning enabled applications.

But, it’s made me rather nostalgic for the early days of Crypto. Y’all got any fun early crypto memories?
I’ve got loads! But one of the more entertaining ones has got to be back in mid 2013 when I was pregnant with my second kid. I talked my husband into driving me down the burbs of Sydney NSW so that I could waddle through a parking lot to find this miner dude that I met online to buy some more BTC 😅🤰
Of all the new litd features I think the one I’m most excited about is account creation.
I’d really like to try connecting various services to my node using accounts. While I haven’t gotten to do that just yet, I have been playing around with creating accounts via litcli. The scammers are of course an issue. And only quality education can help there.
And sometimes it’s not even a scam, it’s just old fashioned mania.
But humans have this inherent issue. We are prone to mania, the madness of crowds.
The only thing we can do is develop the skill to keep our selves out of the mania and try to help others being pulled into it.
Not only are alts inevitable, the are entirely appropriate.

You mean people can get scammed by them? Yes. It has certainly happened often. A lot more education is needed.
I think some of y’all maxi’s hate on the alts so much because you see them as a threat.
While I’m so damn convinced that team BTC is where to be that I don’t see the alt as a threat. I see them as interesting experiments. A good way to test ideas before we let them near Bitcoin.
