i have about 20 paid relays i use..... i do not want any filters (personal opinnion) this is why i follow many. It makes it much much more easy for me to kick what i not want to see... then to search through what i DO want to see.
I am lazy... thats why i try to do less work , or the same work in a less time consuming action.
(following 1800 people on iris.to, took me only 2 minutes...) filtering to get it acceptable took 20min.
very very good for spam protection (i never read the global) .... With this the spambots need to have at least 1 person that follows them, then i can block this person. This makes spam impossible (at least in my case) because i could block the 1 person that follows the spam bots :-)
for me what i do , follow as many people as i can.... then i watch the "folllow" messages... and every person, post, that i dont like i unfollow or even block if its spamy or just begging for zaps..
problem is you can zap yourself OR zap a friend OR create a second account and zap your main account..... people would still miss use it to "pay" for having their post in front...

I try to adapt the bitcoin bech32 python script that it can generate nostr public keys (yes i know all say just use the current nostr pythonscript implementation, but i would like to understand what are the differences to bitcoin bech32 addresses)

Bitcoin will increase your purchasing power (wealth) drastically.
A few months ago i made a prediction on how i think BTC will do against the M1 Moneysupply and the increase in Velocity we see.
I dont know what will happen exactly, but the FED NEVER got inflation under control. Also with the china re-opening which causes much more inflation for the US. The only problem is the lower class can NOT afford any rate increase, the leverage is too high.
So do NOT look about the USD price, we are here to fix the world. Fixing the world is only possible if we can buy anything to support the people. No matter the USD price, BTC will increase your purchasing power. Prices of products will drop before BTC drops thats all you have to know.
