I'm not there at the moment. But I know people are still carrying on; though financially, the kwacha has continued to debase with over 150% inflation these past 6 years. Truly terrible.

Because pennies are already worthless. And sats will be worth more than whatever they already are. Same for the nickel and the dime, in time. And later, the quarter and the dollar.

You do not buy #Bitcoin to *make* money.

You *sell dollars* into Bitcoin to not lose purchasing power over the long-term.

If you're buying Bitcoin to have more dollars, you do not yet understand it.

Sure, and we could say the same of drinking water in the desert. It doesn't matter that money is a story that society tells itself. Everything is just a story. Some stories are more useful than others.

A blockchain is just a digital #ledger, a record of every transaction that has ever happened, replicated on every #node that participates in the network. This is highly INEFFICIENT. So much so that you would never choose to use a #blockchain unless the security created by the redundancy of a #decentralized network was your primary variable of interest. #Decentralization is the entire point. #Altcoins are run on #AWS. #Amazon is a singular point of potential failure. #Altcoins are scams. #Crypto is a scam. #Bitcoin only.
