Met a person at the airport wearing a Satoshi Nakamoto shirt who said he wasn't a bitcoiner. Odd.

Everyone hates lawyers until they need one.

Ramadan's departure is almost here. It came to us like a guest, and just as we began to feel its beauty, to enjoy its pleasant breeze, it started to pack its bags and is about to depart just as it came to us.

How painful the farewell is, and how bitter this separation feels.

If only we knew who among us were the winners and who among us were the losers. Who among us will be accepted, and who will be turned away?

O Lord of the Heavens and the Earth, we ask for Your mercy. O Lord, heal the ache in our hearts as Ramadan ends, as its blessed days and nights slip away.

Just yesterday, the people were looking for the crescent that marked its arrival, and tomorrow, they are just moments away from searching for the crescent that marks its end.

There are enough people focusing on that which divides us into nations and tribes. There are not nearly enough people who focus on that which binds humanity together. Thought, free will, love of our families, the need to eat, sleep, poop, and mate.

Instead, people are focused on how to otherize the other, so you can normalize their pain, suffering, and ultimately elimination.

They’re literally bombing people in tents, in the middle of the day, just because they can. https://m.primal.net/PqhS.mp4

I appreciate the thoughtful discussion. History is complex, and no civilization is without its wars. That said, if we are to talk about history honestly, Christian-led nations have engaged in more wars than any other group in recorded history. Meanwhile, under Muslim rule, the Holy Land saw extended periods of peace where Christians, Jews, and Muslims all lived and worshiped freely.

Today, under Jewish rule, we see a stark contrast—Muslims and even many Christians are excluded. Perhaps instead of revisiting old battles between Muslims and Christians, we should recognize who benefits most from keeping us divided. Unity in justice and peace is a far greater legacy than war.

Nah. Not at all.

I have great Christian and catholic friends. We just don’t post pictures of crusades or talk about expansionism.

How about we talk about the actual teachings of the faith and not just focus on the wars?

Focus on the teachings of Jesus directly, not of blood thirsty third parties with an inferiority complex

If you’re talking about a 1000 years of losing wars to Muslims, sure. But how about you guys actually look at the teachings of Jesus and focus on those?

If Hamas had killed 7 Israelis inside of Israel this week, it would be one of the biggest stories in the world, & all over the US media.

But Israel killed 7 HUNDRED Palestinians this week, including almost 200 children, & yet there's little outrage from our politicians or media.

Yay got to 100 followers on Nostr!

Nostr on primal is still working in Pakistan despite Twitter/X being banned for over a year.

Decentralized social media is censorship resistant.

The power of Nostr and Primal — just some of the biggest Bitcoiners on the platform sending you zaps.

X has become a walled garden, pushing users to subscriptions and platform fees.

Nostr on Primal is a return of the networks to the people.

Nostr using Primal was my first interaction with a Lightning wallet.

As someone who’s not very technically inclined, it always seemed complicated.

But now, after using Lightning, why would anyone want to use anything else?
