It's interesting to listen to contrarian opinions on Bitcoin. The host and guest have valid criticisms about the asset nature of Bitcoin and speculative bubbles, and it's reliance on information technology. But what they do not discuss is the discovery of digital scarcity, distributed trustless consensus based on proof-of-work, and the monetization of waste energy. I think in the future when the price calms down and people stop speculating with it, they will see the value. Until then people will think of price first.
The guest reveals his ignorance on the subject:
"They can just print money and buy Bitcoin. They can't just print money and buy gold, someone has to get it out of the ground."
What he doesn't understand is that there is unlimited gold in the universe, but limited Bitcoin. And producing Bitcoin is not free.
We are so early.
sometimes I worry they were too early
this thing depends on people maintaining their interest over time people get bored easily

It’s a big week for central banks: what to expect
==========
This week, there will be interest rate decisions from the Bank of Japan (BoJ) on Tuesday, the Federal Reserve (the Fed) on Wednesday, and the Bank of England (BoE) on Thursday. The BoJ may raise interest rates for the first time since 2007 due to positive economic growth figures and wage increases. The Fed is unlikely to change interest rates as it continues to combat inflation. The BoE is also expected to keep interest rates steady as it monitors inflation and evaluates the economy's growth. Last week, private equity firms held a record number of unsold assets, US inflation increased in February, and UK wage growth was lower than expected. However, the UK economy expanded in January after two quarters of contraction.
