Black people have no obligation to pay taxes in a country that enslaved them

The IRS audits black people at significantly higher rates https://www.npr.org/2023/05/16/1176441745/irs-audits-black-taxpayers

Tumblr has a big problem with group think/hive mind, I guess because there are so many outcast HS students or communities founded by them made up of people who never grew out of that

So if you go against the grain or question whatever seemingly deep realization they just had they'll all come after you, there's really no point in trying to argue with them

hey fedi what's a good #manga website? I just want something with a very simple that has a wide variety

I can't find / remember sites I used to use ( a couple years ago ) search results are full of deceptive garbage

No worries. Anything I have to say on the subject was in the string of 3 posts that kicked off this thread, and the comments I made in the thread that started here:

Oh I remember that thread, you make some fair points sure knowing the history of state financing of the internet/encryption there's no absolute pure stance.

Personally I'd be willing to overlook the massive technical failings of synapse/element were they on firm ethical ground. And if vice versa Matrix was as stable and well designed as the several XMPP based platforms out there I could overlook them getting/seeking cop money. But as it stands I think me and my friends should leave the buggy and unstable platform to the pigs and use something else.

He did not go to the police and tried to sell them a product like Matrix did. Matrix can't even build their product on existing standards so no reason to use them anyways.

Yes, this seems like a different situation entirely, Matrix devs were actively seeking patronage from the police ( all while making weird rants against their own userbase) whereas in this case it appears the Duetzch Pigs selected #Conversations_im / XMPP based on their own assessment that it's a secure app/protocol to use.
