So if I’m understanding this, when you broadcast your node it is then considered as a “listening node”? Then, would it be fair to say the amount of people running a non-listening node cannot be accurately determined based on the fact that those nodes aren’t broadcasting their existence?

Are you broadcasting your Bitcoin node and if so do you recommend everyone does it or only the technically advanced? I understand there are privacy risks, additional storage/bandwidth requirements, and even possible DDoS attacks and other security risks you may be exposed to. Any feedback is much appreciated.
