I actually don't need much to be free. I've got £170k left on my mortgage and if that was paid, I could do a chill job at my local gardens. I live near a beach so go sea swimming in the summer and surfing all year which costs me nothing. Its different to different people. I don't need international travel in 5 * hotels, yachts (a kayak is as good to me). Literally need about 300k and I perceive that as freedom.

New book to get my teeth into. I won't be able to start it right away, but looking forward to this one. I have read Bitcoin Standard. Fiat Food and the Price of Tomorrow as well and some others, which has enlightened me quite somewhat on why so many are suffering in this Fiat system.

I hope to build my knowledge base and see where it takes me. I am wanting to engage with everyone who is interested in these books, new book recommendations, book reviews and podcasts for example.

I will reply to anyone who's interested and looking for written and verbal conversations. I'm thinking that if I build my knowledge through these books and listening to podcasts (and eventually doing), I will know what the heck I am talking about 🤪

Millionaire Fastlane is a great book. Really does show up the sham most live by working their whole lives to save, trading the time of their youth for the hope of freedom when they're old. It's the trap I'm in now, at age 45 and just coming to this realisation, of the THEFT of life. Now I really need to get out of this and enjoy life while I have my health; time and health are our two biggest assets. That's probably, not probably, that is why I found bitcoin.

Thanks BBG. What's actually going on in the UK? Bit of a rhetorical question I suppose. I'm hoping I can get some answers here, because it's literally impossible to filter out all the noise of the main media sites, TV, Radio etc etc. Hope we can all stick together and think of a plan for whatever is going to happen beyond the next few years.
