NOTE: you can use both an ICANN domain and raw authenticated IPv6 with self-hosted email - going to the same mailboxes.
Also note that TLS is also a scam. Any CA listed by the shadowy TLS cabal can forge any domain for any browser using the default list of totally trusted for absolutely everything CAs provided by said cabal. Solution? Learn about PKCS#11 policies to NOT trust the cabal CAs for private TLDs (or any domain signed by private CAs). Trust private CAs only for associated TLDs or domains. (This is how it used to work before the cabal.)
Just use raw IPv6 with an authenticated mesh protocol:

Also, effective farming/hunting/gathering requires decades of experience. It's one thing when you grow up learning the habits and uses of local plants and animals from your parents. When forced to relocate to a completely different ecosystem (as was done to the Cherokee in the US), you have to start over from scratch. I did learn some gathering from my mother (we went on "picnics" bringing no food, but gathering with her supervision instead). My very modest goal is to add one cultivated crop each year. I started with butternut squash - now an old friend. Added beets, tomatoes, and blueberries last year. We already have wild friend in the yard - blackberries, lemon balm, purple deadnettle, dandelion, peppermint, lambs quarters, plantain. I'm wondering how we can use the onion grass. Thistle is just too hard to utilize - it gets yanked (with gloves!). Yard has been pesticide free for 35 years (except what blows from neighbors).
In the US, we have hundreds who pull it off by living in National Parks. In addition to hunting and gathering, they must constantly evade efforts by Park Rangers to evict them. (Tourists do far more damage to the park with litter, etc.) Ironically, squatting in city/suburban homes is encouraged by current Democrat local governments.
Yes. Subsistence farming (or more practically, hunting/gathering) SHOULD be the bottom line fallback in case of extremely oppressive employment - NOT an ideal way to live. The problem with industrial Britain was that oppressed workers had nowhere to do it (farming/hunting/gathering). All the land was owned by aristocrats. This drove the attraction to socialism (replacing oppressive capitalists with oppressive government, which somehow never goes away on its own as promised by Marx).
In the hey day of America, there was some positive shakeup of Britain when American millionaires (billionaires in today's money) would buy land in Britain from bankrupt aristocrats, and sell/rent it cheap to those willing to use it productively. Sort of an early "Habitat for Humanity". (Many gave it away, but this was not effective - go figure. )
Today is Holy Saturday, where the ancient Liturgy celebrates the "Harrowing of Hell". An excerpt from the ancient Liturgy:
Truly He goes to seek out our first parent like a lost
sheep; He wishes to visit those who sit in darkness and in the shadow of
death. He goes to free the prisoner Adam and his fellow-prisoner Eve
from their pains, He who is God, and Adam's son. The
Lord goes in to them holding His victorious weapon, His cross. When
Adam, the first created man, sees Him, he strikes his breast in terror
and calls out to all: 'My Lord be with you all.' And Christ in reply
says to Adam: ‘And with your spirit.’ And grasping his hand he raises
him up, saying: ‘Awake, O sleeper, and arise from the dead, and Christ
shall give you light. ‘I am your God, who for your
sake became your son, who for you and your descendants now speak and
command with authority those in prison: Come forth, and those in
darkness: Have light, and those who sleep: Rise. ‘I
command you: Awake, sleeper, I have not made you to be held a prisoner
in the underworld. Arise from the dead; I am the life of the dead.
Arise, O man, work of my hands, arise, you who were fashioned in my
image. Rise, let us go hence; for you in me and I in you, together we
are one undivided person. ‘For you, I your God
became your son; for you, I the Master took on your form; that of slave;
for you, I who am above the heavens came on earth and under the earth;
for you, man, I became as a man without help, free among the dead; for
you, who left a garden, I was handed over to Jews from a garden and
crucified in a garden. ‘Look at the spittle on My
face, which I received because of you, in order to restore you to that
first divine inbreathing at creation. See the blows on My cheeks, which I
accepted in order to refashion your distorted form to My own image. 'See
the scourging of My back, which I accepted in order to disperse the
load of your sins which was laid upon your back. See My hands nailed to
the tree for a good purpose, for you, who stretched out your hand to the
tree for an evil one. `I slept on the cross and a
sword pierced My side, for you, who slept in paradise and brought forth
Eve from your side. My side healed the pain of your side; My sleep will
release you from your sleep in Hades; My sword has checked the sword
which was turned against you.

The truth is whatever authorized media tells you. Do not believe your own lying eyes. Do not trust the eyewitness accounts of people you know personally and have never lied to you. Do not trust the eyewitness accounts of dead white straight cis-gendered males. Do not trust the eyewitness accounts of dead dark skinned god fearing men or women.
The problem with sunscreen is they almost all use titanium dioxide (which effectively reflects UV). This is not chemically toxic, but the nanoparticles are becoming a serious environmental problem, harming plants by clogging up their root pores.
Like with Vit D, Mg, Iodine, Vit K, etc, etc the dose makes the poison. For a pasty white Scottish complexion like mine, 12 min / day full summer sun is optimal. Dark skin needs more. Red hair, albino, further north - need less.
Sunrise and sunset are the best times to get more subtle benefits of sunlight. The UV has been mostly filtered out, so no Vit D (or cancer). But the light does good things for mood and vision.
Sound money can't fix addiction. Same outcome if the addiction is alcohol or cocaine or porn.
I got rid of my car in 2005. Biking is faster and more convenient within a 10 mile radius (unless a big load needs to be carried). Combo of bike and public transportation is convenient (but slower than car) within 20 mile radius. Also note that driving a car has 3 times the death/injury rate *per mile* of biking or walking. (Bus/train is 5 times safer per mile than driving a car.) Car accidents (not gun murders) used to be the leading cause of death, but now sugar/alcohol/opioid abuse/addiction takes the lead.
The only thing more dangerous than driving a car is driving a motorcycle - those are 5 times more dangerous per mile.
We keep a car for my wife - a one car family like in the 1950s.
Back in 2005, the cheapest used economy car was $400/mo (gas+insurance+maintenance+depreciation). Don't even think about borrowing for a car. Those factors change over the life of a car. As the car ages - maintenance goes up, depreciation goes down, you can drop collision from insurance.
I haven't done detailed pricing, but my impression is that today the cheapest used economy car is $800/mo.
It shall not be so among you. But whoever would be great among you must be your servant, Matthew 20:26
