This is a dilemma - security and decentralization are the same thing…
And I think technology solves it in the long run.
A movie full of black and brown people cast in titular roles - The Harold of the Change (a character whose presence, foreshadowing and importance far outweighs his screen time), Thufir Hawat, Jamis, Stilgar, Chani, ALL OF THE FUCKIN FREMEN - that is stylistically REPLETE with African and Middle Eastern influences is being criticized (by who tho?) for lack of Middle Eastern & North African (MENA) representation…
Reminds me when there were a bunch of articles panning Cyberpunk 2077 - a game that lets you choose your character’s pronouns, vocal characteristics, and sex organs (with multiple size and type options) with full and uninhibited customization - for lack of trans representation because the game’s corporate goons and yakuza assassins didn’t use Ze/Zir pronouns while trying to murder you…
Please make it make sense. Representation issues are real, but this ain’t it, love.

True story - I once bugged out and left the country I was living in (like all my shit was there) with a backpack and a Briggs & Riley carry on 😅
Minimalist packing is fun. I had a period of work where I might be call up to go pretty much anywhere, for any amount of time, at moment’s notice. Learned to travel with a single carry on, or no more than the two carry on bag allowance, all light, mobile, high quality stuff.
Briggs & Riley and Timbuk2 are my go tos.

Nah, tell that to my ancestors. We have plenty of freedom - people just don’t know how to use it, how to maintain it, and then get mad when they realize that people they don’t like might have it too…
That’s the real problem, people willing to kill freedom so that people this disagree with can’t have it…
I like spending bitcoin in “circular economy” use cases - ie with creators, providers, producers who I know and who I know also understand and will cherish Bitcoin - totally not interested in spending bitcoin with mega corps.
Things like Amazon Prime have their uses for buying widgets and products from other massive corps (like soup and stuff). Like if we’re going to go to a store for food, my wife and I do shop at Whole Foods (another Amazon company) but the majority of our food spend goes to a local meal prep chef and the farmers market.
I’ve been pitching both of these on bitcoin…When it was low they didn’t want it. Not that’s its back up, they think it’s too late and want to “wait till it drops…”
This is true. Until the TINA meltdown but even that happened over on Twitter I think 😂
Talk to people, engage with people, lean into artistic talents.
People rag on Amazon but Amazon Prime is the MOVE.
It’s like a Costco membership but you never have to leave home and it gives you entertainment content too 😂
