All the MUH FWEEDOM people should be up in arms about the arrest of Mahmoud Khalil. Remember the Constitution DOES NOT exclude non citizens from its protections and ONLY explicitly restricts voting and running for office to citizens.
This man, a US Green Card holder, has been arrested while ACCUSED OF NO CRIME and it’s being threatened with deportation. And before you judge him, go find the footage of him from the protests - he appears to have been a peaceful organizer able to speak eloquently, even in his non native language, about Israel’s Apartheid - which is perhaps why he above all others is being targeted and defamed.
If you don’t see a problem with this, you can 1) GET FUKT and 2) you’ll have only yourself to blame when you do, inevitably, find yourself under the boot.
Where in our founding documents does it say that we should be deporting people under false pretense and without due process for offending the President or his favored foreign interlopers? LIKE WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK.
A lot of yall have been laughing all the down about the dismantling of “DEI” or dunking on Germany where it’s illegal to insult a politician online - AND YET at the same time cheering on a FUCKING CLOWN who is willing to deport legal permanent residents for offending the government of a tiny country that is literally 7000 miles away AND receives UNTOLD BILLIONS of US taxpayer dollars and US made weapons in perpetuity.

Unfortunately for Trump’s followers this narrative will probably work. When every this is an occult deep state plot, anything we experiencing in the present can always retroactively be blamed on the other side, while Trump and his clown continue to be held up as the “good guys.”
That said I think debt issue is real and largely apolitical - which means our system has incentive to make it a divisive issue rather than seeking any kind of meaningful solution.
