New version but dropped the version number. Does it matter? Only if you have a bug to report. All content is original. All pics are mine unless noted.

300TB?!? What am I supposed to do with that? Let me know when OG AudioGalaxy returns.

We've come a long way in a short time. Anytime you don't believe that just go into an old building and marvel how we didn't electrocute ourselves.

Pretty easy:

- produce content of interest (not just Bitcoin, privacy, and Nostr)

- keep searching and engage with others beyond your group.

- patience. People will come and stay if you do those things.

Groups I miss from other platforms:

1) DJs and music producers

2) local meets that happened IRL after finding each other on .

I grew up in a house of PR and IR. That's Public Relations and Investor Relations. It's all BS, really. Spin for the narrative, spin to the narrative. Professional lying. They were living their truths long before that became a thing for the public to co-opt in everyday lives.

So when I read Peter Girnus on X do his posts on AI deployment and usage... I laugh. People see right through it. We get it. It's not entirely accurate how AI is deployed everywhere and at all times. But it sure is a common PR/IR spin usage that MSM utilizes and that drives market engagement. Engagement drives advertising which feeds the MSM even more.

This is my little reminder to myself that I really don't fuckin care what the govt does. They can appoint the govt favouring judges who sealed results of the foreign interference inquiry for 100 years to "deputy ministers of justice" and I don't care. They can appoint buddies from Washington to the Privy Council ensuring best results for personal investments and I don't care. They can amass as much fiat bullshit as they want. I don't care. I've long ago checked out. I've been doing as much as possible to opt out. More will come. Fuck the state.

My adult daughter asked me what I wanted for Christmas... I said a Tomohawk steak. Is that weird? I don't think so.

Advising a pre-coiner who's very interested in the whole ethos... And having to restrain myself from vomiting out too much info and overwhelming them. Think it best to go step by step.

Pre-first: gave a Satscard and a book. Then life happened and it became very relevant.

First we get the wallet, and why that wallet, having fully understood their reason for diving deep.

Then we get the non-kyc coin.

Seems backwards, right? Not in this case. I know their reasons. I know their goals. I know their aims. And we're not teaching to get a hot wallet. We're going Coldcard Q because it has certain tools and features that some may find very attractive (like Key Teleport).

I have A LOT of time to listen to great podcasts on my job. You think "40 hours" is the standard? Lolz. Try closer to 60. Such is the life of a truck driver.

Anyways, yesterday I took a dive into the Russian Revolution. The fall of the Romanovs and the ultimate rise of communism. I realized I didn't know much about what occurred just over 100 years ago. It was fascinating... And frightening. Not that the Romanovs fell (damn straight they were corrupt and terrible) but that the despair and struggle by the people opened the door enough to allow the evils of communism to take hold in a monarchy's place. For example, when Czar Nicholas "allowed" the people to form a parliament (Duma) he demanded they meet him on his grounds. Then capitulated but he always showed them who was boss by blocking, censoring, and cherry picking who would be "in control". Classic illusion of the power of people.

That Lenin, Trotsky, and Stalin were able to even get a revolution off the ground while being in and out of exile or in jail in Siberia, seeding the thoughts of revolution through illegal pamphlets and Pravda paper (published in Austria, not in Russia itself), all while being tracked by the Czar's secret police, is astounding.

And, yet, here we are today with an Internet and ability to publish and connect with anyone anywhere... The battle for ideology has amplified and the noise is trying to crowd out the signal.

I can hear the Bells of St Clements! Are we sailors trading citrus or are we about to lose our heads?

I love this channel... The lore behind the lore. They dive deep on the fairy tales that shape our young, impressionable minds. Oh, you think we live in a special age? Stop fooling yourselves. The Wizard of Oz was originally a critique of the financial system and the politicians. But there are twists in here you likely had no idea of. Well worth the watch/listen.

Wait, wait, wAiT....a shooting killed 11 at Bondi Beach Australia? How? I thought the gubmint had taken away all your guns?

Guess they gotta take more rights and increase the surveillance harder. It's for your safety. The stovetop will be set to 5 from 4. You will remain comfortable.

Oh boy.... I'm sure there will come a time when it's good. That time is not now. The amount of hallucinating and false info is ridiculous. That said, how many students question their teachers in class every day? I sure wish I had back I that day. Oh wait, I did... On day 1 in Econ 101. And I got booted out of class for it. Sigh...

We putting the kill on the front rather than the back?

Proof of Work. You see where that steering wheel has rubbed bare? Yeah? There are about four spots like that on my wheel. Approaching 1.2M miles in this old girl.
