[ENG/GER] NOT a bitcoiner/stacker/maxi. I am here to have a damn good time! Rabbithole conniseur; I enjoy random stuff. :D Ex-Furry, (close to) blind, hobby developer/sysadmin, waifu enjoyer, long hair fetish (#hairjob). I sometimes talk about NSFW stuff; because fucking is fun =) (DMs always open.)

aight

thats a picturebook overflow or straight up glich.

RIP xD

Jesus christ.

> winget install git.git

...actually installs a whole flipping rootfs O_o what the heck? I just wanted Git...

I am amazed that we have customers that book Office365 AND dedicated backup solutions AND anti-spam/mail-security as a service. Got to cost a fkn fortune to have the full O365+Metallic+HornetSecurity bundle o.o... insane. How many ppl do they want to have a copy of their emails, exactly? xD *sigh*

Done. https://gist.github.com/IngwiePhoenix/633b3f92fa05e6ae2da83dd3bcad9965

Can someone ping Kieran for me? Kinda hard from the CLI... ^^;

Deployed on https://snort.ingwie.me - have yet to do auto updates, somehow.

On another note, why is it so hard to have a single, simple one-liner to switch from static IP to DHCP in Linux? and the `ip` command isn't exactly the most userfriendly... x.x

Why is there no straight up UART-to-USB plug that sits on the GPIO socket of the Pi? Trying to rapid-deploy the Pi with as little hassle as possible... but my impairment makes pin-perfect plugging hard x.x At home, I can take the time. At work, I can not. Would love to just pop the cover of a case, plop the adapter in, usb into my laptop and have a COM1.

So I am DFU-resetting an iPhone at work and I see a 7GB big download.

When the fuck did iOS get so big?! Back in my days, it was a shocker when it did break 1GB. Holy heck o.o...

I had long ago posted a question to r/selfhosted and this is something that came back from it: https://github.com/sigoden/dufs

This, unironically, is so cool :D It's SPA mode would be super useful for hosting #Snort. Sooo.... amma try and write a dockerfile for that o.o Should be a great way to test things out. :) And be very smol!

Windows 11's OOBE screen is a crime against humanity.

Way. Too. Fucking. Bright.

Keep in mind that most #nostr people do this as a hobby.

So, nothing is eternal. :)

Microsoft MDT/WDS is aaaaaaaaaawful... WinPE is neat, but automated deployments through WDS is a skript kiddies wet dream - VBA, EVERYWHERE!!!!! Holy crap, how is this being deployed in actual corporations?! Everything is a script, no context is truely defined and all errors just go wherever windows feels like putting them - let along XML-ish structured logs with an assanine syntax that is designed to kill your neurons. Holy. Fucking. Shit. This is truely awful. I need a better alternative.

Also, fuck whoever at Lenovo thought that enabling IRST by default is a great idea. Jezuz. X.x

If that's the case, then I guess I'm a goner, lmao ^^

oooooooooooooo

Is this the return of limera1n?? O.O

...nah, iOS' JB scene has been dead since 8.x, sadly. 'twas fun back then, and absolutely amazing.

Me: So how do I log into that server? Any creds? Couldn't find it in the password manager.

Collegue: Just use the domain admin.

Me: So, break in through the front door with a crobar?

Collegue: ... uh.
