[ENG/GER] NOT a bitcoiner/stacker/maxi. I am here to have a damn good time! Rabbithole conniseur; I enjoy random stuff. :D Ex-Furry, (close to) blind, hobby developer/sysadmin, waifu enjoyer, long hair fetish (#hairjob). I sometimes talk about NSFW stuff; because fucking is fun =) (DMs always open.)

I am re-syncing mine and some other people's note now as my LMDB has gone bork as my disk went full.

welp. Today sucks. xD

My mindstate.

shit im fucking done X.x but for the WRONGEST reasons.

Granted, I had to restart it due to my lil storage panic, but those *are* nice stats - but don't explain 32GB of logs.

Oh, look! STORAGE.

And because it fits: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CJQU22Ttpwc

My server IS a fuck shit stack, i admit that much XD

So I am still exploding and imploding rapidly right now but like wtf i must have somehow grown like a huge cross-section node of the entire i2pd network or some shit but this logfile is fucking manic and I can not get over it i just flushed it and like boom all my storage is back or whatever and like I have to figure out how to shorten docker logs by size because this is getting ridiculous and like even when I migrate that to k3s I will also have to figure something out there because jesus fucking christ this is actually stupidly insane and nobody should like ever have to deal with that and I can not believe that fucking i2pd could be this noisy like I knew it could but this is just another level of insane and I have seen my fair share of chatty applications but like bro this is like incredibly crazy and im losing my mind over here just wtfing to no end because i have never seen a singular logfile be this big and it explains so many of my storage issues that i have had as of late and like i have no idea why this node suddenly exploded into traffic like that and OH MY GOD MY MIND IC ANT

OH! MY! GOD! WTF! This is A Docker log?!

WWWWWWWWHHHHHHHHHHHAAAAAAAAAAAAAATTTTTTTTTTTTTT

Can't wait to get my monitoring and cluster going in full.

Somehow, over night, 12GB of my VPS' storage just went... poof. o.o

No VPN, no remote services or anything; gone.

What the hell o.o

aight, thisll be stuck in my mind now, thanks XDDDD

#momsaidusearubber :D

Welp, guess I have a PBX now. o.o

1.: Amma try. strfry doesn't exactly have an easy interface for that. It technically has the monitor subcommand - but, I might have to mount the DB in read-mode and just manually scrape that using Telegraf's input.exec methodology and just barf some JSON back at it. x.x

2.: Grafana, because we use it at work, and my coworkers are bothering the fucking hell out of me. So might as well learn what I am supposed to use or administer. Let me tell you, I have the "superadmin" creds to everything, because it runs on our k3s cluster, to which only like three people have actual access to, but which is mainly administrated by me - because aint nobody can do shit with Linux over there xD. I am, literally, BOFH in this regard. I could be an absolute asshole and they wouldn't even notice...

That said, I have spent a significant amount of time cleaning up after Grafana when it's own migration went hurpdurp and I had to flatline some stale records in the postgres. :/ So, since i know what it's ass looks like, might as well meet the face.

So after my rant-age about SIP, VoIP and business telecommunication all over today ... well, I naturally can't sit still. I have a VoIP/SIP address or whatever from my ISP - so I am bootstrapping something in Incus/LXC. It is Incus, but it behaves a crapton like LXC so... kinda hard to tell them apart o.o

That said, RIP my little ARM boi. This project is NOT holding back xD

Okay, holy shit, telephony is DEAD. All solutions I found were commercial, one way or another. No true system for a selfhosting heart. I will literally have to puzzle it together using an XMPP server if I want it. Holy, fucking, shit. This is baaaaaaad o_o I looked at - but not only - these: FreePBX, FreeSWITCH, Issabel, Swyx (which we currently use), Wazo and just plain Asterisk, which most of them are based off of. And good lord... None of them have any useful or good instructions - its just rah-rah about how good their solution is - but then they run on CentOS7 ... since forever. Or Debian 10 - but have their packages behind a 'Personal Access Token' (so you make an account and they see it, didnt even bother to do so, so no idea what the KYCness is). I am somewhere between sad and pissed. Like, sure... I know that regular old phones are largely dead - but THIS dead? I had no idea. o.o...

O.O I do have a SIP from my ISP... i think I know what to do with it now :D https://github.com/fonoster/fonoster?tab=readme-ov-file

Sadly, this won't help my boss...

My boss wants more VoIP/SIP knowledge in the company.

Welp, guess I found my rabbit hole.
