So, technically my node is back; but BTCd is currently completely demolishing my storage and slowing everything down - see:

It is improving, but slowly. There is also the problem, that CLN apparently tries to create my statictor address with 127.0.0.1 - so, chances are, I'll have to configure this from the other side instead. Fun... But hey, could be worse. I'll just have to figure out a good way to do this. For now, I need btcd and cln to catch up first - which ought to take a whiiiiiile. xD Untill then, I'll leave it be.

Zapping is bound to not work. o-o

So, Tor's ControlPort is always only available on 127.0.0.1 - no matter what you do. This crashed CLN, like, a lot xD So I hacked together a little TCP proxy. Its morbid but works. And now... I wait.

I have built my own :)

The only exposed ports on my router are fake 80, 443, 8080 and 8443 - it's fun x)

But in reality everything is routed through my VPN with my VPS as the headend - so, effectively, I have my own! ^-^

It's a Headscale setup, really neat piece of kit!

After rebuilding my plugins and having symlinked all the important things around (the systemd units expect things to be in /usr, not /usr/local) and creating the bitcoin system user/group I should be able to be zapped again relatively soon. Just gotta add tailscale and then set up reverse proxying.

Welp! This's done. Now to configure cln/btc to use them.

Aight, time to play a game or something xD

The prebuilt distribution is naked as /hell/. No SystemD unit, no libs, nothing! So I am building from source off 27.0.

After that, I should be able to import my previous Lightning and BTC storages and use Caddy to consolidate them all together into one endpoint (will hafta use plain HTTP though). Then some port forwarding and boom, we're back in business!

Ok - and now to do the same for Tor...
