There's a strike in town today and I can only get a hold of at most five bus lines in total. My class is sitting in the classroom and apparently there is a certain distinction between me and a parking lot. Rather than noticing that something is amiss, not a SINGLE of the students with a car had the idea to pick me up, and just "didnt see the message" when i asked. I am almost a whole hour too late for class, just because those absolute braincellosauruses have zero self-initiative and even less understanding of what a group dynamic or alike is. I am incredibly pissed, absolutely salty and unbeliveably annoyed.
Fucking idiots.

Fully committed and added Elvish to my work computer too. Same shell, same layout, everywhere. Actually feels incredibly nice :3

Made it work on Network Paths (UNCs) too in Windows.
All that's left is Fish's forward-completion (press right to autocomplete). And that's it; Fish in Elvish but on Windows.

Simple things matter!
uutils-coreutils, bat, fd-find and ripgrep make quite a complete package to emulate a UNIX shell on Windows under Elvish.
I am honestly quite happy to have a means of escaping Powershell... xD It's good, but, sorry, UNIX is better (for my sanity at least) ^^;
Not the same as regular old "du", but damn nice to have. This is dufs; found it in a list of alternatives.
Shell on Windows will be pretty dope once I am done with this ^^

I am getting super confy with elvish now. Might replace Fish - writing things for elvish isn't that hard ^^ Though a looooot of confortability features are missing. Oh well, I'll find a way.
Elvish looks and feels like a really nice shell. The docs are a bit rough but actually quite complete and quick to parse through.
Last bits remaining: Commands like fastfetch to run when the shell starts, and I have all that I could ask for. Just need to git that bish and stuff x)
Trying out https://elv.sh on Windows.
It works surprisingly well! Could see myself building an elv.rc file to sync across my devices and use that. Not as super-fancy like Fish with right-arrow completion, but definitively an awesome project. And, for all intends and purposes, more POSIX-ish than Powershell x)
