Browsing NIPs again... and my mind just went a little ham on statuses.
Take this:
# nak event -k 30315 -t d=game -t r="steam page" -c "A game"
... And use this:
https://api.playnite.link/docs/manual/features/scriptingSupport/startupScript.html
... and now you can track your game status on Nostr. o.o
Just don't forget, some relays accept the expires_at tag so, add something like this:
Linux: -d expires_at="$(date --date='2 hours')"
Windows: idk, powershell is weird @.@
This expires the event in a hour. However, if you were to not do that, make sure to capture the .id of the initial object, and later, just blast DELETEs into the same relays and pray? xD
Anywayser. Game status on Nostr.
Cool
Neat
Anyway, more reading...
Insanely based :D
Trying to use Coracle, Snort, Nostrudel, Nostter in a slightly older computer and everything is super slow and freezing the computer.
Web apps are so bad I am even hoping that canvas-based Flutter will eventually replace them. The last time I had seen a webapp made with Flutter it was very bad and slow, but I just saw https://drivechain.live/ and it is actually very good.
Did you try Primal?
Because they handle most things by using their cache server, it is actually quite light on bandwidth and usage.
That said; nostr is a lot of json - old PCs, already having to handle the bloat that is "the web" and then crunching JSON, is probably not the smoothest of mixes. x)
Out of curiosity, I asked friends of mine about nailcare and the tools they use - including my mom, who has a whole shelfspace reserved for her polishes and stuff.
It's genuely crazy how far you girls go to have pretty nails and it is super impressive to me. Mad respect, this level of care and dedication, simply rules!
Because outside of trade-hungry one-shots and people inside the bubble...
...it makes no difference. o.o
I'd never be so sensitive to Bitcoin if it wasn't for nostr, not kidding.
And with sensitive, I probably mean "at least a very tiny bit annoyed"... i could rant about that for a while but - the tldr is, nobody really cares untill it becomes a problem they are personally involved in.
Right now, bitcoin is nobody's problem. It was during the first GPU shortage and indirectly during the second. Now that those are gone, so too is the "interest" in it.
Proven fact.
Look at 4chan's entire history.
ASTLIBRA is one of best game I played on this year. #game #jrpg

Wishlisted. Might make a fun blind exploration some day. ^^
Thx for sharing~
Was looking for a remote,
found a JTAG board instead.
Nice, still need to put OpenWrt on my Razer router to finally un-EOL it and then package it up as a nice script for others to do the same. Because, it is ridiculously easy.
1. Use the UCI endpoint (http://$ip/uci) to talk to UCI
2. Generate a keypair locally, and stick them on a USB device
3. Use the UCI endpoint to copy them in place, send your pubkey into the /etc/authorized_hosts file
4. stick a firmware upgrade on the usb drive
5. use OpenWrt methods to slap the update on
6. done!
I think this could be packaged neatly into a tiny little Go app - I have seen libssh2 implementations in it, so this would make a lovely little tool to run to just exploit and upgrade old Razer Sila routers. They are not exactly spec monsters, but are super duper nice APs - the big LED ontop is useful to showcase internet status and the device tree is easily ripped.

Ah, sadge. Thanks anyway. ^^
Gonna take my old ICQ and use this. Genuely need a "random bullshit" domain. ^^
2023 - July/August. I joined a while before the anime con in august iirc. o.o
This is cute.
My friend and me were both running on the AMD Wraith Prism stock cooler for our 3950X and 3900X respectively. So when an apprenticeship-mate told me that there were some beefy af units on sale, i grabbed a pair.
Those are, BY FAR beefier than the comparedly puny stock units. Installing them will take a minute tho xD
oi. Thats... that's big.

And unfortunately, we are on a damn good way there...
I recently talked to a friend about Corpse Party, a game for the PS2 and PSP and we discussed that he could just pop an ISO off the internet and play it - no internet, no DLC, no bullshit - the fact it was an "old game" was genuely a positive factor. And I fear this is not the only place/situation where it'll matter.
Game Pass, Steam, Netflix, Amazon Prime, PlayStation and so many other services have trapped the mainstream in the "You will own nothing and enjoy it" mindset, it makes me sad.
Genuely, I could understand someone developing a depression over this. We can see, day by day, how the freedoms we have had when the internet was new, are slowly removed, stripped, reduced and buried. The internet of the early 00's and these 20's is so vastly different. I'd argue 2010 and around were possibly the best times; you still owned games, but they were slightly online. You could definitively still buy songs you owned online (buy on iTunes, convert to mp3 - it was a ntive feature!) and places like Reddit weren't censored/canceled/SJW'd into oblivion.
God am I glad Nostr exists.
Tribute to the pirates out there.
This is the kind of religion that interests me - how things interconnect and are woven together. Super intriguing! It is why I really enjoy the shinto mythology; it has so much more depth to it than "so they all prayed to jesus and god" x)
But this is just me being a stickler for depth in a plot... o-o
