But basically that plus this should make a highly customizeable rss-to-nostr setup possible - and reliable. Super minimal deps and a clean API.
Make it configure through environment variables and you may as well have a throw-away container to yeet into a kubernetes cluster or the likes that will continiously publish stuff - and since proxy support is effectively built in, could even go through tor and publish through it too. Or i2p... whichever.
I wonder if I can put this together with nak to make an rss-to-nostr bridge? My personal interest is in reformatting the output of RSS feeds. atomstr and friends are super nice, but the resulting notes are bulky and usually not very "good" or well formatted. So I want to find something that has nostr and notes in mind. Maybe this can do the trick?

This NIP makes me sad. When Reddit was ripe to implode, kbin and lemmy hardly delivered and the world was actively seeking for an alternative, this is what nostr devs came up with.
I got lost at "Request to post" and other parts.
Really, really sad this hit the wall before it could start running...
The fact this NIP has a JS snippet to it is sooooooo gooooooooood.
