Looking at the news coverage of the whole vigilance and healthcare industry in US, is like looking at the healthcare coverage by the insurers. They only try to cover symptoms (vigilance) but not the cause (healthcare industry). Pretty fucked up if you ask me.

Good morning nostr, i need to get going early so i can feed the chickens before church. And now we have the lost dog in our dog pen, so i want to to take her for a walk before we leave. We've been asking around, so far no one has claimed her, so we are calling her Lucy for now. She has no basic training, none. So yesterday i started getting her used to a leash, sit, stay. She looks like a australian shepherd and seems pretty smart. The only other thing we plan to do is take her to a vet to see if she's chipped. After that we'll know that we've done all we can to find her owners. Anyway, its something else to have to do, but if it was meant to be, then she'll become part of our family. I still think the timing of this is not coincidental. One day after we had to put our old Lou down.
