The listener base of the Podcasting 2.0 apps must grow expenentially for this to really take off. All of your favorite podcasts are already on apps like Fountain and TrueFans etc., so it's an easy transition to start including music and bring that fan base too.

You hold Bitcoin, but still listen to your music and podcasts on Spotify and ITunes? You're not using an app like Fountain or Podverse or CurioCaster? You make me sad.

Agreed. They should keep doing everything they're doing, BUT, add NOSTR, BTC and Podcasting 2.0 in the mix. If they put the same effort here as they do on web2 and traditional social media, it soon becomes apparent that this is a legitimate income stream and more engaged fan base. If you just dump your tracks here and walk away, it won't work. Go hard in the paint for 6 months and see what happens.
