My parent's medical bills are astronomical, and they have what is considered 'good' healthcare in the US. Fortunately for them, although their retirement has taken a hit, they won't be homeless because of this.
If someone needs to 'save up' or go into debt for medical treatment (and I'm including dental and mental in this because they are medical, despite what the US healthcare system says), can you really say we have the best healthcare system in the world? Nope. We have the most expensive.

Using my Merlin Bird ID app this morning, we were able to identify: Great Blue Heron, American Goldfinch, Cape May Warbler, Downy Woodpecker, Eastern Screech Owl, Indigo Bunting, Crows, Blue Jays, Cardinals, and a Carolina Wren, not to mention the Canadian Goose on the other side of my hill.

I got home and couldn’t find Boo. I looked everywhere. I was calling him and calling him. I looked in every nook and cranny. Then, I turned around, and he was sitting right behind me, staring at me. I have no idea where he hid, but I swear he was smirking…..
I have decided to open my Heart and Soul, and hope there will no Total Eclipse of the Heart. If that were to happen, I may be forced to Unbreak my Heart yet again, and then Harden My Heart.
