I think auto-correct likes to stir things up. I really do. I think it has an evil side. Earlier this morning, I went to text 'I want to hug you' and auto-correct jumped in and changed it to 'I want to hit you'. (Not kidding! I couldn't believe it). Fortunately, I caught it before I hit 'send'. I think auto-correct is in cahoots with my car, which still displays 2020 as the current date on the dashboard.
I'm "Sitting on the couch eating chocolate and watching Columbo" kind of stressed. Chocolate and Columbo is my geeky version of doing shots.
And to think all of my life stress could have been avoided had I pursued the goals of my 8-year-old self. I'd be livin' large as Mr. Roarke's sidekick (I'm guessing my 8 yo self had plans for Tattoo 😬 )
Having a discussion about "normal" in society.
"Normal" = conforming to a type, standard, regular pattern. However, the standard is a constantly moving goalpost. Normal 4 years ago isn't normal today, nor will it be normal 5 yrs from now. Normal in the US may not be normal in the UK. Normal in Iowa may not be normal in NJ. Normal in my house may not be normal next door.
So-
1."Normal" in society is a subjective concept.
2. If it's subjective, why do we still give the term so much weight?
May you have all your vaccinations and booster shots, and may your immune system be as strong as the Philadelphia Eagles defensive line.
