Can someone explain why in God's name you'd want to host your calendar on nostr?

Nostr is both frustrating and invigorating. I'm on the cusp of writing a desktop client because the current options are pretty rough.

Oh just wondering about stuff

Anyone know how to get a raw dump of nostr traffic generated by Amethyst? Would be a cool way to learn the protocol. Like: what message is emitted when I update my profile? (I guess I should read the manual huh...)
