delta the other big purple app, part of what made sense of nostr for me was building delta skins in json. who doesn’t want to play some n64 roms on their iPhone 👾
I think they would ban these dev accounts, and punish official release for this. Best to keep it self sign, it’s will be one true to false toggle to turn it back on and compile your own… a lot safer than trusting me, I got to find a solid up to date tutorial on editing the plist and ad hoc signing w/o dev account. Can customize some colors while you there.
technically we don’t need #sideus until this changes, but it’s nice to get altstore ready. There is a single toggle for nozaps in the code base so I should be able to release updates very easily, and those who want to build their own ipa should be able to do so easily as well. Currently it just reverts to profile zaps on notes tho, trying to pinpoint what I reverted or when, and try to add the nozap tag so this is easy.

I think because of the eu date is 2024 probably better to prepare for how to do that with whatever certificate program is implemented then. Maybe some v4v split like damus but crossed a selection of nostr apps you support.
hmm id stick to altstore, as recommended on sideus.app // there a reason they limit the number of active apps and use a mail plug-in. It just reported to work via sideloadly if you already got that working.

thousands of people use these tools with no issue to their accounts, apple even acknowledged this at the post wwdc talk show podcast.

It’s weird. It worked for me at first but then I installed nostr:npub1current7ntwqmh2twlrtl2llequeks0zfh36v69x4d3wmckg427safsh3w as an experiment, deleted and reinstalled the shortcut. It still wants to open Nostur but the deeplink doesn’t work anymore. 🤔

the catch is you need to reconnect to your computer every 7 days to refresh the self sign. (if you have a dev account its 365 days).
both solutions sync and resign on Wi-Fi if your phone is aloud to sync via Wi-Fi.

Maybe there could be a nip that damus, arcade, nos, plebstr, current can follow to not make these conflicts arise until the user wants to interopt… I would like to keep sideus and damus on same device… haven’t run into issue yet but I’m sure iOS would roll the dice if I clicked on a nostr:// link
why pwa developers hate apple but they all use beveled edges? One of the reasons I prefer damus is the lack of these bubbles in the timeline.
Yeah, and pretty sure there are nostr pwa’s out there that specifically have safari full screen code in them 😅
